Join Ranger Olivia to see and learn about the different types of native plants that are in not just our parks, but in Arizona. April is Native Plant Month, and we are always ready to give our amazing native plants a little love. Come along and find out what makes our cactus, tree and shrub species so special. Plus, we’ll talk about why using native plants in your front-or-backyard landscape is a great idea. This is a casual drop-in program, that gives you an opportunity to come and learn about the different types of plants that are native to Arizona. This table will have a variety of pictures and samples plants that are common in this area to help you identify them along the trails. MEETING LOCATION: Nature Center No Registration required!
