A morning walk around the North loop with Ranger Shaun. Learn about our desert ecosystem and some of the critters that call it home. With Spring officially in the air, we’ll be on the lookout for all sorts of wildlife, including young ones. Temps are on the rise too, so we might even see a rattlesnake! Please wear closed toed shoes and bring water for drinking. North loop is a fairly well maintained, mostly level and sandy trail with a couple of minor ups and downs. Hiking equipment not required, but feel free to bring what makes you comfortable. MEETING LOCATION: North Trailhead. To register, please call the Nature Center at (602) 506-2930 ext. 3 with your name, phone number and number of people attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list.
