Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Ecosystem Hike

A morning walk around the North loop with Ranger Shaun. Come walk the easy 2.9-mile loop of North trail with Ranger Shaun and learn about our desert ecosystem and some of the critters that call it home. With Summer knocking at the door, we’ll be on the lookout for all sorts of wildlife, especially before the day gets too hot! We might even see a rattlesnake! Please wear closed toed shoes and bring water for drinking. North loop is a well maintained, mostly level and sandy trail with a couple of minor ups and downs. Hiking equipment (other than shoes and water) not required, but feel free to bring what makes you comfortable. Children welcome, but no pets. MEETING LOCATION: North Trailhead. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list.
