Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Full Moon Hike

Come hike under the full moon with Ranger Shaun! Come explore the desert by the light of the full moon. See a familiar landscape become a land of wonder under the silvery blanket of the moon’s glow. Blacklights seek out scorpions as other mysteries as laid bare by our celestial guide. If it’s a clear night, even flashlights might prove optional at times. Experience the desert in a new, enchanting way. We’ll explore the barrier free, 0.5-mile Gila trail under the light of the full moon. Close toed shoes and flashlights are required for your safety.
