Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Full Moon Hike

Join Ranger Kevin for a twilight hike leading to a great view of the full moon rising over the Valley. This 3-mile hike will take us on a loop that will provide great views of the Valley of the Sun, the distant mountains, and the full moon as it rises over all the desert. This hike is rated moderate, so expect some loose rock, uneven terrain and elevation change. Please wear sturdy, closed-toed shoes and bring water, along with a flashlight. Restrooms and water fountains are available near the trailhead. NO pets, please. MEETING LOCATION: Nature Center Limit 20 participants. To register, please call the Visitor Center at (602) 506-2930 ext. 6 with your name, phone number and number of people attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Visitor Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list. Registration for this program will close on 3/1.
