Enjoy a short mid-day hike with Ranger Olivia to see what wildlife we can spot. Let’s see what sorts of wildlife we can spot. Animals might be out and about during this time, but if not, there is still plenty things to see! We will pass many native plants to the desert along with some great views of petroglyphs that were left by the Indigenous Peoples. The route will be on Black Rock trail, this will be an easy to moderate 1.5-mile lope hike. The terrain is mostly level but there are a few spots that are uneven with small to medium rocks underfoot. Wear closed-toe shoes and bring plenty of water. Restrooms are available at the trail head. MEETING LOCATION: Black Rock Trailhead Limit 15 participants. To register, please call the Nature Center at (602) 506-2930 ext.5 with your name, phone number and number of people attending.
