More Information

Join Ranger Nikki and Park Staff to “Give Your Land a Hand” during the nation’s largest, single-day volunteer event. Volunteers will help beautify the Park’s designated Wildlife Viewing Area by weeding, raking, and trimming branches and also refresh the paint on the Park entry gate. These tasks require a limited amount of walking and a moderate amount of bending, crouching, lifting and shoulder strength. The work is outdoors in developed areas in warm desert conditions. As a token of our appreciation, all volunteers will receive free admission to the park for the entire day! MEETING LOCATION: Nature Center Parking Lot Limit 20 participants. To register, please click: https://signup.com/go/cxmibyH If you find you cannot attend this program after you have registered, please follow the cancellation instructions on Signup.com to open your spot to others. Registration for this program will close on 9/26/24. Please note: Summer programs may be canceled on short notice due to severe weather, including extreme heat events. The Maricopa County Parks website is the best resource for verifying the program’s current status, so please check the program listing prior to departing for your scheduled program.
