Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Nighttime Fitness Hike

Join Ranger Derik on a heart pumping hike through the park at night. You will travel 3.5 miles and gain 360ft of elevation gain over the course of the hike. The trail can be rocky and loose in sections so hiking boots are strongly encouraged. If you have balance difficulties, trekking poles can be helpful. Every hiker should have at least 1 flashlight with a full charge or extra batteries. Water can be found at the Nature Center and bathrooms are located at the Slate trailhead.
