Beat the summer heat and explore the park after dark with Ranger Derik as you hunt for scorpions and other nocturnal creatures that call the park home. The hike will cover approximately 2 miles on the Beardsley and Frog Tank trails. The trail is easy but be prepared for some rocky, sandy and steep sections of trail. Please make sure to bring plenty of water and a fully charged flashlight and or extra batteries. Bathrooms and water can be found across the road at the 10 lane boat ramp. Please no pets. MEETING LOCATION: Frog Tank Trailhead Limit 20 participants. To register, please email derik.rodgers@maricopa.gov with your name, phone number and number of people attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please email back ASAP so those on the waiting list may be contacted. Registration for this program will close on 7/17/24.     Free with Park Fee
