Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: St. Patrick’s Day Search for Gold Hike!

Join Ranger Olivia for some St. Patrick’s Day fun searching for gold during this Family-friendly hike. To celebrate we will be heading out on the trail in search of gold that has been left behind by Lucky the Leprechaun. Lucky always seems to be causing trouble here in the park on St. Patrick’s Day, and this year is no different, so come help Ranger Olivia collect all the gold coins Lucky left behind. This will be an easy 1-1.5-mile hike along Moonlight trail, which is mostly flat with some uneven and sandy parts. Restrooms and water are available near the trailhead at the Nature Center but be sure to bring water with you.
