Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Sunset Hike

Join Ranger Kevin for a hike to the top of Yavapai Point. Join us for a 3-mile hike on the moderately difficult Pipeline and Yavapai Point trails. These trails feature loose rock, uneven terrain and about 400ft of elevation gain. From Yavapai Point, you will be rewarded with perhaps the best view of the lake in the entire park, and with a little luck, a classic Arizona sunset over the western mountains. Please wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes and bring plenty of water. Restrooms are available near the trailhead. NO pets, please. MEETING LOCATION: Cottonwood Day Use Area.
