Every Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday evening the McDonald Observatory Visitors Center hosts public Twilight Programs and Star Parties. The Twilight Program is an educational program that takes place 1.5 hours before the Star Party. Twilight Programs may include activities about the night sky or the Moon. The Star Parties consist of night sky constellation tours, and views of celestial objects via astronomy cameras and video projection, and occasionally other presentations
