Mesa Arts Center: Intermediate Glass Blowing/Get a Handle on Handles

Sharpen your handle making skills. This three week intensive will focus on several embellishments for vessels, such as Roman handles, hollow handles, sculptural handles, and solid handles. Students need to have previously taken beginning glass blowing or have equivalent experience. This class is the next step after a beginner class. Students will be expected to make vessels with handles and spend studio time attempting the techniques taught in class. Previous glass blowing experience required.
