More Information

Container gardening is an easy way add color and interest to your outdoor space. From the newest varieties of annual flowers, to shrubs, succulents, and even vegetables, attendees will re-think what can be grown in a pot. Noelle Johnson, the AZ Plant Lady, Phoenix-based landscape consultant and author of Dry Climate Gardening, will share her best tips for creating, growing and maintaining a beautiful container garden along with the best types of containers to use. Books will be available for purchase at the end of the program. This program supports the City of Mesa’s Climate Action Plan (MCAP), a Mayor and Council priority initiative to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, build resilience in our community, and address the negative outcomes of a changing climate.
