More Information

If you’ve ever wanted to try baking your own sourdough bread but didn’t know where to begin, this class is for you. Learn about the history of sourdough, how starters work, and what gives sourdough such a distinct flavor. You’ll have a chance to make your own sourdough starter and go home with instructions for caring for it and using it to bake your own loaf. Supplies are limited, and participants are encouraged to bring their own clean jar (approx. 2 cup volume) with lid for their starter.
