More Information

Learn about our impact on the world and the actions we can take to better our environment. Join us in leading our community toward sustainability by using the 3Rs - reduce, reuse, recycle - in an interactive way through activities and projects. This series for teens will meet in September and October and will include projects such as making recycled seed bookmarks, plant germinating, and terrarium building. This program is led by teen volunteers from Red Mountain's Teen Advisory Board. Ages 12-18. This program supports the City of Mesa’s Climate Action Plan (MCAP), a Mayor and Council priority initiative to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, build resilience in our community, and address the negative outcomes of a changing climate.
