What is your idea of living on the Moon in a lava tube? Get your team together and show us! Open to middle schoolers across the nation!

About this event:

Who: Teams of 4-6 middle school aged students (grades 6-8) from formal and informal educational organizations.

What: The competition challenges students across the nation to design and build a 3D model of a habitat located in a lunar lava tube. A technology-focused project is also available for teams who want to create new technologies for lunar exploration.

Where: Team deliverables are submitted and judged online (end of April) with the finals held in an online conference setting (early May).

Why: Students will dive into a space exploration project-based activity centered on real science and engineering! Free curriculum and resources! Connect with STEM professionals! Win prizes!
