Natural Patterns

Nature is full of patterns, which has been generated spontaneously by nature. The idea of this project is collect samples of natural patterns around the world with the objective to study the participation in science activities in the wild.

To this purpose we have developed an application that facilitate the observation and collections of patterns such as: fractals, symmetries, spirals, chaos and flows, waves and dunes and other proposed by participants.

Applying the research methods also you can participate validating hypothesis about patterns morphology or formation, as well as contribute with samples in periodically challenge as fractals lighting or clouds shapes.

The contributions, mainly photographies, are periodically uploaded to a public repository to be used in conservation research.
