More Information

NCSSM Instructor Chris Thomas will explore “Earth Science: See How Chemistry, Physics, and Engineering Rock Your Life”.

Can you think 4-dimensional? Do you know how we study life on Mars? Can soil and dirt be used as evidence at a crime scene? Did you know there are rocks and minerals in your food?

We’ll explore Four-Dimensional and Big Systems Thinking that define Earth Scientists:
How to match your STEM interests to real-world problems.
How geologists have to think differently from other science fields.
How Chemistry and Earth Science explain the rocks in your food.
How Earth Scientists use innovative tools to study Earth materials
To register, simply click on the attached link! The virtual session begins at 6:00pm and will conclude at 7:30 pm. Once you register, you will receive the Zoom connection link. Registration comes at no cost.
