North American Phenology Campaign
Monitor plant phenology for long-term environmental records
In a specific area
- Ongoing
More Information
The North American Phenology Campaign invites students and citizen scientists to track seasonal changes in plants, contributing to GLOBE’s long-term environmental database. Participants observe and record leaf color changes during green-down (fall) and green-up (spring), helping scientists understand plant responses to climate and environmental changes. This project offers opportunities to engage with researchers, share observations, and learn about phenology in your local area.
