This is an informal observing night on Jon Wood Astronomy Field. Guests must arrive before the park closes the entrance gate at 7PM . We’re just about at new moon, so the skies will be dark all night! It’s galaxy season and there will be a lot of nice deep sky objects to seek out. Bright Jupiter will be visible in the West, setting a little after 10 PM.Â
Please note that there will not be an indoor meeting today since so many folks are travelling for Monday’s eclipse.
