Pima Air and Space Museum: The Great Paper Airplane Fly-Off

One of the community’s best FREE events for kids. Compete to throw the furthest paper airplane and win amazing prizes. Each contestant will compete by building and throwing their paper airplane. The farthest throw wins! The top three from each age group will compete for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Each contestant in the individual competition can bring up to 4 guests for free. Lunch is provided. Age brackets: 6-8 years 9-11 years 12-14 years Family Contest Each family must have at least one adult age 18 or over and at least one child between the ages of 5 and 17. Up to 7 people may participate per family. Individual competitors may also be a part of the family contest. Individual contestants will compete in the age bracket they fit in on the day of the competition April 11th. Registration required.
