Playful Digital Learning: Gamer’s Intro to Video Editing – Gateway to Digital Creativity

Have you always wanted to make gaming videos that people enjoy? In this camp, students will learn the basics of video editing and turn their ideas into entertaining content! Students will be given a prompt to record focused gameplay using Streamlabs. They will then take their video and audio recordings and bring them into the DaVinci Resolve software. From then on, anything is possible! From cutting clips to working with video effects, students will experience the entire video editing process in an industry-standard program. Students will experience various video editing skills by embracing their passion for gaming, creating, and expressing. At the end of the camp, students will have a finished product and will be able to showcase their work as official video editors!
