Engage students in the fundamentals of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) through ready-to-use, standards-based lesson plans and sea turtles. Explore additional resources such as sea turtle fact sheets, conservation actions, coloring pages and online activities.

The North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher periodically offers a professional development workshop on using the Sea Turtle Exploration curriculum. The Sea Turtle Exploration workshop will count towards NC Environmental Education Certification (Criteria I) and consists of 6 contact hours (three hours in the morning and three hours in the afternoon) that may count toward CEUs for teachers.
