This project has been monitoring the condition of Whitsunday seagrass meadows since 1998. There are 3 sites currently being monitored: Bowen main beach, Hydeaway Bay and Cannonvale Beach (Pigeon Island). The seagrass watch monitoring protocol is used for the data collection and data is submitted to the Seagrass watch HQ database.
