Solas Natural Burial Preserve Open House

Solas will be open for tours and demonstrations 10/23, 10/24 & 10/25: 11-4p

Solas Natural Burial Preserve will provide demonstrations of how water moves through the earth – how toxins can affect that earth, and other science experiments to be announced! Tours will be offered and spooky snacks will be available along with opportunities to ask questions about Green Burial and well, just burial!. (Have you ever wanted to know….?) Solas is a beautiful 20 acre Prairie Field located less than a mile from Governor Nelson state park (6025 Oncken Road). There is plenty of parking for all, restrooms (the good kind!) are available and there is seating. Don’t worry, families – our presentations are strictly PG and it’s up to you – as always- to decide what age is appropriate. We will be throwing Water balloons on the roof! I’ll let you guess what that will demonstrate. See you at Solas!

Solas is located 7 minutes out of Middleton, and runs between M & Q by Governor Nelson State Park (driveway from Governor Nelson).
