Summer STEAM Workshop Lessons (limited to 20 students each):
Camp time includes the lessons listed below as well as fun activities on the sciPad, in our new STEAM Machine, and in our outdoor exhibit area, plus a 20-minute lunch break. Kids can expect to explore a different theme every week, and each Monday and Tuesday workshop will have different activities.

June 6: Superhero Academy Part 1 • June 7: Superhero Academy Part 2
You have been officially invited to join our Superhero Academy! Our elite team will teach you how to create strength potions to help you become stronger, wield the power to make substances disappear, create your own superhero persona, and even build simple machines to get around faster.

​June 13: Galactic Explorers Part 1 • June 14: Galactic Explorers Part 2
The universe is calling! Explorers will use centrifugal force to create unique galaxies, learn the life cycle of a star, and discover the wonders of space. We’ll launch crafts to amazing heights and gain knowledge on space travel in our very own planetarium.

​June 20: Jurassic Journey Part 1 • June 21: Jurassic Journey Part 2
Travel to the land before time, through the ice age, and up to early human history. Lead excavations and discover how fossils are discovered, all while learning the complex process of preservation.

June 27: Minecraft Mania Part 1 • June 28: Minecraft Mania Part 2
Immerse yourself into one of the Minecraft-inspired biomes to build things from the far reaches of your imagination. Apply knowledge of engineering to design sound structures that can survive earthquakes, and engage in player versus player action through physics challenges where only one will be left standing.

July 5: Mind-blowing Magic
Welcome all future Magicians! Abracadabra and alakazam, get ready for a day of mind-blowing tricks and activities that will explore optical illusions, magnetism, sleight of hand, and other tricks magicians use to stump us all!

July 11: Aquatic Adventures Part 1 • July 12: Aquatic Adventures Part 2
Are you ready to get your feet wet and explore the vast aquatic ecosystem we have here on Earth? Become a Marine Biologist and learn all about life under the sea, dissect lionfish, obtain the knowledge and skills needed to survive out at sea, and discover how you can make a difference in keeping our oceans and beaches clean.

July 18: Sci-Fi Science Part 1 • July 19: Aquatic Adventures Part 2
This week students will be participating in activities with all of the latest technology! Learn the basics of coding, program a variety of different robots, create art with 3D printing pens, and so much more.

July 25: Critters & Creatures Part 1 • July 26: Critters & Creatures Part 2
Get up close and personal with some of our favorite creatures in the animal kingdom. Find out what makes an amphibian different from a reptile, what milk has to do with mammals, why tarantulas shoot hairs, and more during this wild week of Creature Features and hands-on activities!
