Tesla’s Toolbox promotes creative exploration through hands-on activities that turn learning into fun. This spring, we are exploring different fields of engineering and related careers in the space industry.

In February, use bioengineering to extract DNA from plants!

NOTE: This workshop is the same as the February Homeschool Day K-5 workshop.

Activities:

• 11:00 a.m. workshop: DNA Extraction-Strawberry (Ages 7-12 recommended)
• 2:00 p.m. workshop: DNA Extraction-Wheat Germ (Ages 7-12 recommended)

These workshops are designed for students ages 7-12. Students under 7 may require adult assistance to complete the project.
