Join us for a hands-on professional development session that demonstrates how to integrate Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math, and Music (STEAMM) into your teaching through the context of multicultural storytelling. Open to all educators, this workshop will explore how to use diverse cultural narratives to engage students in interdisciplinary learning, foster creativity, critical thinking, and a deeper appreciation for diversity. No matter your subject area, you’ll gain practical strategies to bring STEAMM and cultural relevance into your classroom. Presenters: Jolene Horn, Elisabeth Bankhead Time: 8:30am-12:30pm Location: In-person ONLY in Tucson, Arizona at Imago Dei Middle School at 55 N. 6th Avenue. Earn: Up to 5 hours of professional development credit for recertification. **NOTE: Participants will be expected to take a task back to their classrooms, collect and analyze student work, and share their reflections with the CRR.
