Tohono Chul: Desert Discovery Mondays – MESQUITE & PALO VERDE BEANS

Join us this summer as we connect with nature and make some desert discoveries! Each week will focus on a different desert theme – from cactus to rain. Come gain a deeper understanding and appreciation for the desert we call home. There is something for everyone this summer at Desert Discovery Mondays! All ages are welcome. Don’t forget to bring a hat and water bottle! MESQUITE & PALO VERDE BEANS July 1st You may have noticed dried seed pods and beans on the desert ground. Important for the abundant local plant and animal wildlife. We will investigate how these legumes support our desert’s diversity.
