More Information
Arivaca Lake is an amazing location for fall migration and we’ll be hitting it at a time when there are so many possibilities. This can be a great spot for Painted Bunting this time of year, so we’ll be sure to check for that, while also looking for a wide array of species such as Cinnamon Teal, Common Ground Dove, Dusky-capped Flycatcher, and Yellow-headed Blackbird. Limited to 8 participants. Leader: Luke Safford (lsafford@tucsonbirds.org) $35/member, $50/non-member Trip Difficulty: Hard. This will be an out and back walk on a somewhat undefined trail for about 3 miles total. There will be some inclines. Bathrooms at the boat launch, but maybe bring your own TP. You’ll need to be able to carry 2 liters of water for hydration on the walk.
Ticket Required: No
