Award-winning artist and naturalist Walt Anderson and professional photographer Kevin Floerke lead a 4-hour in-the-field bird photography workshop. Learn how to use insights into avian behavior to anticipate, plan, and capture high-quality images of birds in their natural environment. Learn to get the most out of your photographic equipment with your instructors, who will help you understand the settings to get your best shots You will be required to list the equipment that you will be bringing so that Walt and Kevin can be best prepared to work with you. Our experienced guides have extensive knowledge of birds and the unique habitat that makes this region special. The festival, presented each April by Friends of the Verde River, is a purpose-driven community benefit organization and 501© 3 non-profit working to preserve one of the last perennial flowing rivers in the American Southwest.
