Winterfest Family Fun Day

Winterfest Family Fun Day will take place in Esplanade Park on Sunday, November 22, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Kick off the holiday season with a festive afternoon of family fun, music, animals, snow and plenty of surprises!

This free community celebration brings the magic of the season to Riverwalk with live entertainment, giant inflatable rides, face painting, festive photo opportunities, community booths, food vendors and interactive activities for all ages.

Event highlights include photos with Santa, the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Teddy Bear Clinic, cookie decorating with Publix, rides aboard the Catabella Express Train, inflatables and live entertainment provided by School of Rock. Families can also climb and play on Broward College’s Snow Mountain, visit Pet Healthworks Pet Rescue Row, stop by the adorable Puppy Kissing Booth and enjoy free boat rides courtesy of Water Taxi.

More fun awaits at the City of Fort Lauderdale Kids Zone, along with a brand-new attraction this year: the Highland Cows Petting Zoo!

The celebration continues with hands-on activities from the Museum of Discovery and Science (MODS) and interactive experiences throughout Riverwalk.Plus, MODS will offer FREE Museum admission from 3 to 5 p.m., giving families even more ways to explore, discover and celebrate together.
