Astronomy on Tap Charlottesville: Exoplanets and Explosions

Come join us on Monday, September 8th from 7-9pm at Firefly Restaurant & Game Room for a night of free astronomy talks, trivia, and prizes targeted at a general audience. We’ll have talks by professional astronomers from the University of Virginia on the search for planets beyond our Solar System (exoplanets) and the explosions of massive stars!

Firefly will be open on Monday starting at 5pm before our event. Stop by early for some dinner and drinks. The kitchen and bar will stay open all throughout the event as well! During the event, we may have telescopes set up to observe objects in the night sky (weather permitting of course)! Stay tuned to our public Facebook event page for more updates.
