Astronomy on Tap Charlottesville: From Dust to Astronauts

Come join us on Monday, May 5th from 7-9pm at Firefly Restaurant & Game Room for a night of free astronomy talks, trivia, and prizes targeted at a general audience. We’ll have talks by professional astronomers from the University of Virginia about what it takes to become an astronaut and how dust plays a vital role in the formation of stars & planets (and even life)!

Firefly will be open on Monday starting at 5pm before our event. Stop by early for some dinner and drinks. The kitchen and bar will stay open all throughout the event as well! During the event, we may have telescopes set up to observe objects in the night sky (weather permitting of course)! Stay tuned to our public Facebook event page for more updates.
