Astronomy on Tap Charlottesville: The Evolution of Molecules and Galaxies

Come join us on Monday, November 3rd from 7-9pm at Firefly Restaurant & Game Room for a night of free astronomy talks, trivia, and prizes targeted at a general audience. We’ll have talks by professional astronomers from the University of Virginia and the National Radio Astronomy Observatory on the search organic molecules in space and the evolution of galaxies!

Firefly will be open on Monday starting at 5pm before our event. Stop by early for some dinner and drinks. The kitchen and bar will stay open all throughout the event as well! During the event, we may have telescopes set up to observe objects in the night sky (weather permitting of course)! Stay tuned to our public Facebook event page for more updates.
