Join us at 7:30PM PDT, Monday, September 15th for Astronomy on Tap hosted at the outdoor Dog Haus Biergarten in Old Town Pasadena. We’ll hear from NASA JPL Optical Engineer Susan Redmond giving a talk entitled “To the Stratosphere and Beyond: Chasing Cosmic Clues with Balloon-Borne Telescopes,” and NASA JPL Chief Engineer of the Mars Sample Return Program Adam Steltzner speaking about: “People Who Think About Living On Mars, Haven’t Thought Enough About Living On Mars.” In addition, we will have a telescope on-hand for guided stargazing, live music from local rockstars Jason Achilles and Forrest Mitchell, professional astronomers to answer your science questions, astronomically-themed pub trivia with prizes, and NASA educational swag!
