Astronomy on Tap Los Angeles: Simulations & Black Holes

Join us at 7:30PM PDT, Monday, June 23rd for Astronomy on Tap hosted at the outdoor Dog Haus Biergarten in Old Town Pasadena. We’ll hear from newly minted PhDs from Caltech Dr. Sarah Habib: “How Computers Smash Black Holes Together,” and Dr. Yoonsoo Kim: “Einstein’s Curve Ball.” In addition, we will have a telescope on-hand for guided stargazing, professional astronomers to answer your science questions, astronomically-themed pub trivia with prizes, NASA educational swag, and live music with local rockstars Jason Achilles and Forrest Mitchell!
