Astronomy on Tap Salt Lake City | Ghosts in the Night (and Day)

Calling all space enthusiasts! AoT is back in Salt Lake at HK Brewing on October 27th. In spirit (pun intended) of the spooky month of October and the 2026 Physics Nobel Prize about cosmic neutrinos, this month’s AoT will be all about neutrinos (commonly referred to as ghost particles).

We have two speakers lined up, Jorge Torres Espinosa and Vedant Basu, both post-doctoral researchers at the University of Utah and neutrino experts. Come hear about what we can learn about neutrinos, how and where we detect them, and the future of neutrino astronomy.

Attendance is 100% free and open to everyone 21+! Doors open at 7pm with talks starting at 7:15pm. Stop by for a brew (or delicious house-brewed Kombucha), we hope to see you there.
