The Omentum Project, a group of citizen scientists advocating for Stage 1 and Stage 2 ovarian cancer survivors, is seeking eligible women to participate in a groundbreaking study to help improve the quality of life for ovarian cancer survivors, and other cancer survivors living without an omentum. The study focuses on the ability to process salt with/without an omentum.
The study consists of two parts: an initial screening through an online survey, and if eligible, participants will follow a specific high-salt or low-salt popcorn snack and record their symptoms through a one-time, three-hour, at-home process. Potentially eligible participants include U.S. women aged 18 to 74 with or without a current or previous ovarian cancer diagnosis. The study is volunteer only; no compensation is provided.
