EngineerGirl Writing Contest

Each fall, the National Academy of Engineering posts a new Writing Contest on EngineerGirl. The contest aims to encourage participants to explore how engineering impacts their own lives by writing about engineering in relation to society, food, energy, disaster relief, health and medicine, and more.
A new contest prompt is posted each year in September with a final deadline of February 1st. The contest is open to youth of all genders in grades 3-12. All participants receive feedback from the judges, and winners receive cash prizes and recognition via EngineerGirl.
