Geminid Meteor watch party

Join the Lima Astronomical Society and Johnny Appleseed Metropolitan Parks District for an evening meteor watch party at Deep Cut Historical Park just south of Spencerville, Ohio.

We will meet in the HEATED shelter house at Deep Cut Historical Park.  Bring your favorite hot beverage, learn a few things about meteors, and step outside to see if you can catch a few meteors streaking across the sky!  Lima Astro will bring telescopes to see what else we can find in the night sky!

This year the Geminid meteor shower peaks on the night of December 13-14.  If you're going to see any of the Geminid meteors, this night is your best opportunity!
