Start your morning with a slow-paced hike to see and learn about the Burros of Lake Pleasant! Join Ranger Olivia on the trail to look for Burros and other critters along this easy rated mostly flat hike. Have you ever wondered why there are Burros in Arizona, and why they’re not everywhere? Or how they survive in our desert climate every year? Whether you just want the chance to see burros or want to learn more about them come to this no registration required program to kick off your Thursday! We will begin on Frog Tanks trail for 0.3 miles and then mere onto Beardsley trail, with a total of around 2 miles out and back to hike. Bring plenty of water, wear close-toed shoes, and please no pets. There are NO restrooms or water at the trailhead, but restrooms can be found across the street by the Ten Lane Boat Ramp.
