Explore the seldom seen north end of Lake Pleasant with Ranger Derik and be rewarded with sweeping views of cacti and towering mountains. The hike will cover 5 miles and gain 415 ft of elevation again along the Bald Eagle trail and Agua Fria River. Along the way hikers will see breathtaking geological features like the White Bluffs, Indian Mesa, and Wild Burro Mesa. The ranger will cover topics on history, water, plants and animals, The north end of the park does not have water so please bring 3 liters of water per person. Hikers should have protective clothing and sturdy shoes for walking on rough terrain. Hikers with balance difficulties are encouraged to have hiking poles or a walking stick. Bathrooms are available at the trailhead. MEETING LOCATION: American Eagle Trailhead on Table Mesa Rd Precise Meeting Location: https://maps.app.goo.gl/Z2xBWiUpqXy4vWDP7 Limit 25 participants.
