Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Ancient Ones – History of Hohokam

Join Ranger Olivia to learn about the people who lived in the Valley before us by seeing real artifacts, petroglyphs, and even creating your own. This classroom setting program will feature real and replica artifacts from the Indigenous people who lived in the Valley. We will be discussing how they communicated, hunted, lived, and had fun with the natural things around them! We will also be able to create our own petroglyph with supplies that will be provided. Bring your questions and curiosity, this program is suited for any age group. Bathrooms and water are available at the Nature Center, but you are welcome to bring your own water as well.
