Join Ranger Derik on a morning hike through the Sonoran Desert and learn about the many unique plants and animals that call the Sonoran Desert home. The hike will follow the North loop trail for 3 miles on sandy flat trail and is rated as easy. As we hike through pristine desert habitat, we will use binoculars to look for wildlife and get sweeping views of the McDowell Mountains and Superstition Mountains. Please note that there is no access to water or bathrooms at the trailhead so make sure to plan ahead. MEETING LOCATION: North Trail trailhead (Please allow a 10-minute drive from Entry Booth) Limit 20 participants. To register, please call the Nature Center at (602) 506-2930 ext. 3 with your name, phone number and number of people attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list. Registration for this program will close on 11/20/24.     Free with Park Fee
