Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Desert 101 Hike

Spend the morning hiking through cactus covered hills and learn about the ecology of the Sonoran Desert with Ranger Derik. The hike will cover 3 miles out and back along the State trail on relatively flat trail with a few short rocky sections. Hikers should bring 1-2 liters of water and come prepared for the weather.
