Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Morning Cactus Hike

Join Ranger Derik on a morning hike through the park in search of Cacti and other native Sonoran Desert plants. We will travel 2 miles out and back along the State trail gaining roughly 100ft of elevation in the process. Along the hike you will learn about the many species of cacti that can be found in the park. Please wear hiking shoes and bring plenty of water with you. Bathrooms can be found at the trailhead and a water fountain can be found at the Nature Center.
