Join Ranger Eric on this guided hike to learn about the plants, animals, and ecology of the Sonoran Desert. We will hike on a 1.9-mile loop of the Ford Canyon and Ironwood Trails starting from the Area 9 Ford Canyon Trailhead. The trail is rated as moderate with some occasionally rocky, sandy, or uneven surfaces. Please bring your own water and snacks, wear sturdy footwear and sun protection. Restrooms are available at the Area 9 parking lot and trailhead. For those of you participating in the 100 Miles in 100 Days Challenge, this is a great way to work towards your goal! The challenge runs from Nov.1-Feb. 8.
