Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Desert 101 Hike

Join Ranger Derik on a slow-paced walk along the lake and learn about the many animals and plants that call the park home. The hike is rated as easy and will cover 1.7 miles along the Roadrunner trail and only gain 147ft of elevation. Please note that while this walk is short the trail is rocky and uneven in places so participants are strongly encouraged to wear boots or close-toed shoes and bring hiking poles.
